Matthew 5:10-12

¹⁰ Blessed are those who suffer persecution for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. ¹¹ Blessed are you when men revile you, and persecute you, and falsely say all manner of evil things against you for my sake. ¹² Rejoice and be glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For in the same way they persecuted the prophets that were before your days.
